"I've been looking to do this type of thing for a while now," said Delaney. "I want to interact with people, share my knowledge and show people how fun baking can be. This is a great way to get started. I use Williams-Sonoma products and believe in them, so this is a great first step."
Delaney, who received her culinary education from the Ballymaloe Cookery School in Ireland and the Cordon Bleu in London, opened Cakes for Occasions nearly 10 years ago and is well-known for her intricately designed cakes and sinfully delicious desserts. She currently employs 15 pastry chefs who hand-craft nearly 700 wedding cakes per year.
