Do you know or have a child who loves to bake or wants to go to culinary school? Enter our "CAKE MENTOR" contest for your chance to win a spot at our Cake Mentor Workshop with Cakes for Occasions' owner Kelly Delaney on December 10, 2011. Winners will  spend a four-hour afternoon shadowing Kelly, touring the bakery, trying their hand at decorating, and gaining valuable insight about the industry. The afternoon will also be tailored around the winners' specific interests. All entries must be submitted by December 3rd.

CAKE MENTOR RULES OF PARTICIPATION:

  • Children currently ages 10-15 are eligible to enter.
  • To enter, simply send an email to submissions@cakes4occasions.com with a response, in 200 words or less, titled: Why I Deserve to Win a Spot in the Cake Mentor Workshop on December 10th.

ALL ENTRIES MUST INCLUDE:

  • Child's full name
  • Guardian or Parent full name
  • Town
  • Email address
  • Phone number (include area code)


  • Entries can include a photo or drawing but must be limited to 200 words or less.
  • Entries become the property of Cakes for Occasions.
  • Participants must be available to attend the workshop on December 10th from 10am-2pm
  • Participants agree to be the subject of a press release announcing the winners and any associate press coverage.
